15 mile long run with 8 miles at a faster pace. I was aiming for 7:00 pace on the faster portion. My legs were a bit fatigued. First week over 45 miles (53 total!).
Ran 4 miles (avg 8:00 approx), then began the tempo miles 4-12. Splits: 6:53, 7:01, 7:02, 6:59, 7:07, 7:14, 7:08, 6:58. The first 5 miles had a slight downhill, and then when it flattened out I began to struggle. But I made it. 3 miles easy back home. Last 1.5 miles I felt so dehydrated. Going to have to try to figure out how to get some water in on these long runs.
Average pace overall: 7:38, 1:54:35 overall time.
