Was planning on doing a fatiguing run of 7 miles followed by 3x1mile today, but I was worried I was going to run out of time, even starting by 6am, so instead ran 5 miles, followed by 4x1mile @6:00 pace with 0.50 mile (4:15 minutes) recovery between each. The cooldown suffered and was only about 1.5 miles long before I rushed everyone out the door to get Aubrey to school.

We have had a little runny nose/sore throat going around our house so thinking no second workout today unless I am really feeling up to it after the girls go to bed. Want to try to stay healthy!

Overall: 11.50 miles in New York. 1:23:27 overall time, 7:15 pace.

I think we are getting a cold at our house. I struggled to run 6 miles today at around 8:30 minute pace. Going to skip any second workouts this week and just focus on trying to stay healthy.

3.43 miles Kingston to Ealing. 30:15 overall time, 8:49 pace.

2.78 miles Sidney Island, British Columbia. 21:58 overall time, 7:54 pace

3 mile stroller run that included walking Aubrey to school. Little sore throat/headache. Just really want to stay healthy so I can get my long run in the weekend. Maybe a few tempo miles tomorrow.

Started my long run at 6am, and it was warm from the beginning. Struggled with stomach issues throughout the run, and think I had to stop 4 times to find a bathroom. But other than that I was able to just relax and somewhat mindlessly run mile after mile. It always feel good to be out. Feeling confident that I can run this marathon close to 3:00 hours. Especially since the race I signed up for is primarily downhill, and this run was at least 8 miles of gradual uphill.

2:38:42 overall time, 7:56 pace.
