Was planning on doing a fatiguing run of 7 miles followed by 3x1mile today, but I was worried I was going to run out of time, even starting by 6am, so instead ran 5 miles, followed by 4x1mile @6:00 pace with 0.50 mile (4:15 minutes) recovery between each. The cooldown suffered and was only about 1.5 miles long before I rushed everyone out the door to get Aubrey to school.
We have had a little runny nose/sore throat going around our house so thinking no second workout today unless I am really feeling up to it after the girls go to bed. Want to try to stay healthy!
Overall: 11.50 miles in New York. 1:23:27 overall time, 7:15 pace.
