| Cam is home for a couple days so I was able to get outside today. Legs still felt a bit tired from Saturday, and it was hard to wake up early, but I am always glad when I just get up and do it. 10.13 miles in 1:22:09 (8:07 pace).
Upper fix in the afternoon.
Dipping my toes into the coaching world. There is an organized kids cross country club here, and I volunteered to help out in exchange for my two oldest to be able to participate free of charge. So now we are busy two nights a week. We will see if we stick with it. I feel like my kids are too young to really get too involved. 20 min at least of abs/core exercises (Situps, lunges, squats, pushups).
And now that it is the last day of August, the blog has told me I ran 280 miles in the month of August. What?! That is an average of 10.77 miles on the days I ran. 5 of those runs were outdoors. A husband who isn't around much and 3 small kids. Who am I?! (If I can't brag on here where can I?) No wonder I have been tired lately.

| Girls woke up with fevers today. I was feeling a bit off as well. 5 easy miles around the neighborhood.

| Workout. 2 mile warmup. 3200@ 6:40 pace w/5 min rest, 1600@6:19 pace w/3:30 rest, 1200@6:00 pace with 2:30 rest, 800@5:46 pace w/2 min rest, 400@5:30 pace w/1:30 rest. 2 mile cooldown. This workout felt too easy. I should have pushed the paces a bit more I think. 1:14:42 overall time, 7:26 overall pace.
Disneyland in the afternoon. I debated putting this into my miles, but the park was empty and we were booking it from ride to ride, park to park, everywhere. Then I walked the half mile back from the park to the car pushing the stroller. So counting 3 miles for the 6 hours we were there. Which is probably well under what we did.

| Lots of treadmill today.
Maine 5K 24:40 overall time, 7:57 pace
Massachusetts 5K 23:18 overall time, 7:30 pace
0.94 miles Caplin Gulch. 7:06 overall time, 7:32 pace.
Got Aubrey ready for school and Cam was home this morning to take her.
Finished with Minnesota 5K 23:23 overall time, 7:32 pace and 2.93 miles Hampton Court to Olympic Stadium. 22:04 overall time, 7:31 pace.
Flat abs fix in the afternoon. Only 25 of the 30 minutes cause I just couldn't do it anymore. I am beat!

| Easy 8 miles today. 1:05:24 overal time, 8:02 pace. I don't feel like I had the best week this week. I felt off for some reason, and I knew it was going to be hard to get a long run in with Cameron out of town so I tried to get a few extra miles in during the week. I only got in one faster workout, but overall I got almost 60 miles in this week and I think my body was telling me to take it easy and recharge. Part of me wants to head out for another hour sometime doday, another part of me says just to relax and enjoy the weekend. Starting strong again Monday for sure.
